First conference of the Latin America Network on Drug Studies (REDESDAL)

The first conference of the Latin America Network on Drug Studies (La Red de Estudios Sobre Drogas en América Latina – REDESDAL) will take place 15-16 October 2019 at the Instituto de Investigaciones Sociales de la Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM), in Mexico City.

REDESDAL brings together academics and experts on issues related to illicit drugs in the region. It aims to:
- facilitate the exchange of information and analysis on the production, trafficking and consumption of drugs in Latin America;
- educate citizens on these issues; and
- strengthen the voice of Latin American academics in the drug policy debate in the Americas and globally.
