Consortium workshop 2019

This workshop brings together the international Drugs and (dis)order research team – including 12 partner organisations in four countries.

The team met at SOAS, University of London to share emerging findings from the first year of fieldwork in Afghanistan, Colombia and Myanmar, and to develop our understanding of the policy terrain that the project seeks to influence.

As we move into the second year of research, one of the key meeting objectives is to develop our comparative approach across the country teams – identifying our core comparative themes and questions to be addressed.

Working in a consortium provides rich opportunities to share knowledge, learning and approaches to common challenges. During the workshop, training helped strengthen capacity across the project in areas such as data management, research methodologies and policy engagement.
