Consortium workshop 2018
20 March 2018 - 23 March 2018
This workshop brought together the whole Drugs and (dis)order project team for the first time – with thirty-five participants from 11 of the 12 partner organisations.
The workshop aimed to establish a shared understanding and joint ownership of the project’s vision and goals, methodological approaches and guiding principles.
The workshop provided a forum for the different country teams to set out a contextual overview and report on their work plans and priorities for year one of the project.
A central focus of the workshop was on the four research strands (history, political economy, health and ethnography) that will shape the project’s research outputs.
Sessions were held on the capacity building priorities for project partners, data sharing and management, approaches to policy and public engagement, internal and external communication, project governance and project management.
